Louisville Afterthoughts

Breakfast with Gerald Tyrrell and his wife Betsy took up most of the afternoon. But it didn’t matter, I left Jessie’s Diner more than satisfied. And I hardly touched my food. Tyrrell’s grab-ass childhood stories spent with Hunter Thompson as they ran amok through Louisville’s Highlands were plenty to sink my teeth into.

It started to rain now, but so what? I needed to kick into slower gear. I finally had something that fleshed out the legend behind the man. I know this is only the beginning. All that nonsense the day before with my car being impounded and having to stay the night made some sense. Yeah, it put a large dent in my budget, but I got something back for my  trouble in the end.
